How to apply - MS-4s Most medical students enrolled in their fourth year at a U.S. medical school are eligible for the STEER elective. The school must be accredited by the LCME, Liaison Committee on Medical Education. Here is its list of schools. Now, follow these application steps:
- Complete the Environmental Medicine/Border Health Application for Elective.

may not be downloaded. Request a form
by sending your name and postal address by e-mail to steer@uthscsa.edu,
calling the STEER office at 210-567-7407, or mailing a request to:
